Abstract:
; The community of heritage speakers in the United States continues to grow over the years, highlighting the necessity of good teaching methodology for this group of learners. The language spoken by heritage speakers has a number of characteristics, where terms such as multilingualism, bilingualism, code switching and translanguaging become important. Similarly, in the social field, speaking Spanish and being Latino in the U.S. community have an associated negative stigma. Through a contextualization of this community, I intend to review the main approaches and procedures for teaching Spanish as an inherited language (SHL). ; Máster Universitario en Formación de Profesores de Español (M057).
