Abstract:
International audience ; In 1997, Gouadec published a book explaining the use of a table, that he named “concordancer”, designed to process the terminology and phraseology of texts to be translated. In the same university where he taught, the tool was adapted, for the sake of simplification. If the objectives of such a simplification are quite understandable, the method may lose of its relevance, which may impair its appropriation by students. That’s why this contribution studies in detail the changes that were brought. ; En 1997, Gouadec a publié un ouvrage qui explique en détail l’utilisation d’un tableau pour le traitement de la terminologie de textes à traduire. Dans sa propre université, l’outil a fait l’objet d’adaptations visant à le simplifier. La présente contribution s’attache à questionner les changements apportés : les objectifs qui y ont mené sont très compréhensibles mais l’outil en perd sans doute de la pertinence, ce qui peut s’avérer aussi nuisible à son appropriation par les étudiants.
