Développer la compétence à écrire en français langue seconde chez des adolescent⋅e⋅s en situation de grand retard scolaire : textes identitaires et ateliers d’expression théâtrale plurilingues

Abstract: Cet article présente les résultats d’une recherche visant le développement de la compétence à écrire en français langue seconde chez des adolescent⋅e⋅s immigrant⋅e⋅s en situation de grand retard scolaire, au moyen d’interventions composées de l’écriture de textes identitaires et d’ateliers d’expression théâtrale plurilingues. Les effets des interventions ont été observés sur différentes dimensions de la qualité de la production d’un texte narratif et d’un texte descriptif par les élèves (idées, cohérence, lexique, connaissances liées à la phrase, respect des conventions de l’écrit, nombre de mots). Les analyses statistiques révèlent les effets positifs variés de ces interventions selon le type de texte, la dimension ciblée et le sexe des élèves. ; This article presents the results of a research project aimed at developing the writing skills in French as a second language of underschooled teenaged immigrants through interventions involving the writing of identity texts and multilingual theatre workshops. The effects of the interventions were observed on different dimensions of the quality of the students' production of narrative and descriptive texts (ideas; coherence; lexicon; knowledge related to the sentence; respect for written conventions; word count). Statistical analyses revealed various positive effects of these interventions depending on the type of text, the targeted dimension and the students’ gender. ; Este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación sobre el desarrollo de la competencia escrita en francés como segundo idioma en los adolescentes inmigrantes en situación de gran atraso escolar, a través de intervenciones compuestas de la escritura de textos identitarios y de talleres de expresión teatral plurilingües. Los efectos de las intervenciones se observaron a través de diferentes dimensiones de la calidad de la producción por los alumnos de un texto narrativo y de un texto descriptivo (ideas, coherencia, léxico, conocimientos relativos a la frase, respeto de convenciones de la escritura, número de palabras). Los análisis estadísticos muestran varios efectos positivos de estas intervenciones según el tipo de texto, la dimensión escogida y el sexo de los alumnos.
