Abstract:
En janvier 2014, une agence de presse protestante publie un article sur l’enseignement du créationnisme dans des écoles privées évangéliques de Suisse romande. Relayées par la presse généraliste, ces révélations suscitent le « malaise » des pouvoirs publics. Elles mettent à l’épreuve les rapports entre religion, science et politique, et redéfinissent ce qui relève du domaine public ou peut être considéré comme une affaire privée, sous couvert de « liberté religieuse ». Cette contribution prend appui sur des sociologies qui s’efforcent de décrire une gamme de disputes portées au regard de tiers (affaires, controverses, scandales) pour analyser la séquence d’événements qui ont suivi ces révélations ; elle s’intéresse à la façon dont ce « malaise » travaille de façon critique les régulations de différentes sphères (médias, religion, politique). ; In January 2014, a Protestant news agency published an article about Evangelical private schools teaching creationism in French-speaking Switzerland. These revelations, echoed by the mainstream media, produced a “malaise” among political authorities. They put to test the relationship between religion, science and politics, and redefined what belongs to the public domain or what can be considered a private matter, under the guise of “religious freedom.” Using a sociology that seeks to describe a range of arguments brought under a third party (cases, controversies, scandals) to analyse the sequence of events that followed the revelations, this contribution focuses on the way this “malaise” works critically regulations of different spheres (media, religion, politics). ; En enero de 2014, una agencia de noticias protestante publicó un artículo sobre la enseñanza del creacionismo en escuelas privadas evangélicas de Suiza francófona. Estas revelaciones, repetidas por los medios de comunicación, suscitaron el “malestar” de las autoridades públicas, pusieron a prueba la relación entre religión, ciencia y política, y redefinieron lo que pertenece al dominio público o lo que se puede considerar como un asunto privado, bajo el pretexto de la “libertad religiosa”. La presente contribución se basa en une sociología que trata de describir tipos de argumentos presentados frente a terceros (asuntos, controversias, escándalos) para analizar la secuencia de acontecimientos que siguieron a las revelaciones. Se interesa en cómo este “malestar” trabaja de manera crítica la regulación de diferentes esferas (los medios de comunicación, la religión, la política).
