Abstract:
Σκοπός της διατριβής είναι η μελέτη των δύο επών του Γρηγορίου Ναζιανζηνού Παρά Νικοβούλου προς τον πατέρα και Νικοβούλου προς τον υιόν, από την κριτική έκδοσης της Maria Grazia Moroni, με εισαγωγή, απόδοση από την αρχαΐζουσα προσωδιακή στη νεοελληνική γλώσσα και ερμηνευτικά σχόλια. Αρχικά, διευκρινίζεται πως ο Nαζιανζηνός, απευθυνόμενος σε νέους, μέσω του ευχάριστου και διδακτικού χαρακτήρα της ποίησής του, αποβλέπει στην προστασία και διάδοση του oρθόδοξου χριστιανικού δόγματος. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό συντίθενται τα δύο έπη που είναι ανταλλασσόμενες αυτοβιογραφικές έμμετρες επιστολές, συνδυάζοντας στοιχεία ρητορικής και δράματος. Eπίσης, καθίστανται ιδανικά για ασκήσεις ρητορικής. Στο πρώτο έπος ο γιος αιτείται της υποστήριξης του πατέρα του να πραγματοποιήσει ανώτατες σπουδές στην ελληνική γλώσσα και γραμματεία, προκειμένου να προσεγγίσει το θεϊκό φως. Ο πατέρας υπόσχεται να εκπληρώσει την επιθυμία του γιου του και εγκωμιάζει τον λόγο, προφορικό και γραπτό. Eπιπροσθέτως, υπογραμμίζονται οι θεματικές, γλωσσικές ... : The aim of the present postgraduate thesis is the study of the two epic poems of Gregory of Nazianzus From Nicobulus to his father and Nicobulus to his son, from Maria Grazia Moroni’s critical edition, including the introduction, translation from the ancient prosodic to the modern Greek language and hermeneutic notes. Initially, it is illustrated that Gregory Nazianzen targeting young people and, through the pleasant and didactic characteristics of his poetry, he aims at safeguarding and disseminating the orthodox christian denomination. Subsequently, the two poems are autobiographical verse letters exchanged, with rhetorical and dramatic characteristics and they are ideal for rhetoric assistantship. In the first poem, the son appeals for his father’s support to be further educated in the greek language and literature to approach the divine light.
