Abstract:
Στην εργασία ερευνώ τη χρήση γλωσσικών στοιχείων που χρησιμοποιούνται από κάποιον πολιτικό με απολυταρχική ιδεολογία. Για αυτό το σκοπό μελετώ τους λόγους του Μουσσολίνι στο πλαίσιο της ανάλυσης λόγου. Μέσα από δεκαπέντε ομιλίες, που καλύπτουν σχεδόν το διάστημα της πολιτικής του δράσης, εξετάζω τη θεματολογία, το λεξιλόγιο και γραμματικά- συντακτικά στοιχεία με συχνή παρουσία. Η θεματολογία και το λεξιλόγιο καλύπτουν πολιτικές σκοπιμότητες. Ο Μουσσολίνι επιλέγει θεματολογία και λεξιλόγιο ευνοϊκά προς αυτόν ή την ομάδα που εκπροσωπεί και αντίστοιχα μη ευνοϊκή θεματολογία και λεξιλόγιο για τον αντίπαλο. Στην Ιταλική η ρητή έκφραση των αντωνυμιών δεν είναι συντακτικά αναγκαία και επομένως η χρήση τους μπορεί να οφείλεται σε πολιτικούς σκοπούς. Με το «εγώ» αναδεικνύει τον εαυτό του, τονίζει το πολιτικό του ήθος και τις πράξεις του για το καλό των Ιταλών και διαχωρίζει τον ίδιο από το σύνολο ώστε ο λαός να τον σέβεται και να τον υπακούει. Το «εμείς» έχει τριπλή λειτουργία, καθώς το χρησιμοποιεί ως εγκλείον για ... : This study explores the linguistic elements used by a politician with an authoritarian ideology. My main question is whether political ideology may influence linguistic preferences. The case study I opt for are Mussolini’s speeches. Within the theoretical framework of Discourse Analysis, I examine sixteen of his speeches; chronologically these cover almost most of the period of his political action. I focus on the topics he chooses to speak about, the vocabulary he chooses and certain syntactical elements that reappear with such a statistical frequency that is beyond what may be called accident. The topics he opts for and the vocabulary he selects certainly serve a political expediency. Mussolini chooses positive themes for himself and the group, he represents, and respectively negative topics and vocabulary towards his enemy.
