PRIS at 2009 Relevance Feedback track: Experiments in Language Model for Relevance Feedback

Abstract: This paper describes BUPT (pris) participation in Relevance Feedback Track 2009. The track has two phrases. In the first phrase, 5 documents are submitted based on the results of the k-means. In the second phrase, language model is used to relevance feedback for query expansion. ; Presented at the Text REtrieval Conference (TREC 2009, 18th) held in Gaithersburg, Maryland on 17-20 November 2009. Published in the Proceedings of the Text REtrieval Conference (TREC 2009, 18th), 2009. The conference was co-sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), and the Advanced Research and Development Activity (ARDA).
