Abstract:
В статье предложен анализ преимуществ и недостатков известных структурных редакторов, их функциональные возможности и производится оценка эффективности работы в сравнении с классическими текстовыми редакторами. Структурные редакторы отображают исходный код программы в виде иерархии. Редактирование в данном случае ограничено таким образом, что только корректные состояния возможны (код всегда соответствует грамматике языка программирования). ... : Introduction. Currently, a lot of software developers employ text editors to edit the source code of software projects. In this case, the developer works with symbols and strings of a source code. Source code editors are the main part of integrated development environment (IDEs). The development of software languages and environments has fostered the concept of displaying the syntax tree directly on the screen. It has led to the development of structure editors. Structure editors display the source code of the program in the hierarchical form. Editing in this case is limited in the way that only the correct states are possible (the code always corresponds to the programming language syntax). The hierarchical structure of the source code is described by a model, that is also referred to as CodeDOM. It is an abstract syntax tree or an intermediate representation of the source code.
