MInería de falacias en el discurso político

Universitat de Barcelona, Curs: 2017-2018, Tutores: María Antònia Martí i Mariona Taulé ; [spa]Con este trabajo se ha hecho una primera aproximación al problema de minar una falacia argumental en un corpus lingüístico, un tema de gran relevancia hoy en día en el contexto de la lucha contra la deshonestidad en la política, la diseminación de bulos y noticas falsas, y la manipulación de la opinión pública. El estudio se ha centrado en la denominada falacia del hombre de paja, una clase de falacia común y muy prevalente en el discurso político. Partiendo del planteamiento y la metodología del campo más afín, la minería de argumentos, y del estudio teórico y empírico de la falacia del hombre de paja, se ha formulado un modelo conceptual de esta clase de falacia, se ha diseñado una metodología para su identificación manual y anotación en un corpus lingüístico real, y se han propuesto rasgos de entrenamiento y una estrategia para su detección automática mediante algoritmos de clasificación. Palabras clave: falacia, hombre de paja, minería de argumentos, lingüística de corpus ; [eng]This work is a first attempt to tackle the problem of mining an argumental fallacy from a linguistic corpus, a highly relevant topic in the current context of combatting dishonesty in politics, the spreading of fake news, and the manipulation of public opinion. The study focuses on the so-called straw-man fallacy, a common type of fallacy which is especially prevalent in political discourse. Drawing from the approach and methodology of a related field, argument mining, and from a theoretical and empirical study of the straw-man fallacy, a methodology is designed for manually identifying and annotating the fallacy in a real linguistic corpus, and a training feature set and detection strategy is proposed for its automatic mining using classification algorithms.
