Consensus-Based Decision Support Model and Fusion Architecture for Dynamic Decision Making

Abstract:
This work is devoted to the design of a novel consensus-based decision model to support decision situations with dynamic set of solution alternatives. The proposed model makes use of a dynamic group decision-based feedback mechanism for constructing the collective linguistic assessments of multiple groups of decision makers that are expressed in terms of Z-numbers. By employing the developed operational tools for Z-numbers, a consensus reaching process is then developed for each group of decision makers by resorting to their attitudinal trust relationships. It is proposed to determine the adaptive level of consensus in each group through graph analytics of the consensus evolution network of the group. A fusion model that benefits from an optimal and dynamic weight-assigning mechanism is finally constructed in the selection process to aggregate the assessments of decision makers. The effectiveness of the proposed model is verified by addressing the fault location problem in a large-scale system.
