Abstract:
This research proposes to analyze how the identity processes, for citizenship formation, are lived in Brazil, inserting them in the theme of the socio-anthropological construction of citizenship and the political. And as a way of analysis, the investigation will focus on the dialectical relationship between the Constitution and citizenship, seen as a platform for the practice of acts necessary for self-construction as individuals. The originality of the theme is based on the real perspective of the relations between citizens and identity discourses, seen as social categories emerging from the lived experimentation of real interaction and experiences, as normative reconstruction and performative acts, and in the idea of discourse as a social practice, with the recognition of a new space for legitimizing citizenship practices, lived as a representation of daily life. For the purposes of this observation, the methodological proposal will involve documentary analysis and individual interviews, and in this perspective the mainly goal is to identify the extent to which this phenomenon of the construction of the idea of citizenship as a representation of everyday life by citizens runs through the understanding of the value of the Constitution as a legal-political document, so that one can evaluate the nature of this political and legal consensus that the constitutional text represents, and unveil its degree of influence in the formation of citizen identities, and how these identities are reflected in practices representative of daily life
