Abstract:
International audience ; This study aims at describing the interactions between co-referential chains and globalisation. The corpus is composed of 26 German, English and French press articles, featuring the same main referent, the Concorde, in the context of two different events (the 2000 crash and the 2003 last flights) that can potentially trigger some form of emotional involvement. A tool-based analysis of the co-referential chains shows many similarities, which tends to confirm the globalisation hypothesis. However, there are also some significant differences, depending not only on possibilities and constraints in each linguistic system but also on different choices in the way information is processed. In other words, globalisation does not (necessarily) mean indistinguishability. ; Cet article est consacré aux interactions entre chaînes de référence et globalisation. Le corpus de presse étudié est composé de 26 textes en allemand, anglais et français, centrés sur un même référent principal, le Concorde, et deux événements distincts (accident de 2000 et derniers vols de 2003), susceptibles de donner lieu à une forme d’investissement affectif. Si l’analyse outillée du corpus montre un grand nombre de similarités dans les chaînes, invitant à l’hypothèse d’une globalisation communicationnelle, on constate également certaines divergences, parfois liées au système linguistique de chaque langue, mais révélant surtout des différences culturelles en matière de représentation du référent, qui font conclure que globalisation ne signifie pas indifférenciation.
