Abstract:
Kubokota participant observation data, drawn from a notebook I kept during fieldwork (including notes and diagrams providing contextual information). Some of the records in this file have corresponding images illustrating the context in which utterances occurred; these are scanned from my notebook (file names match record markers). Some are explored further in elicitation notes. ; 20-30 community members who came together for two dictionary workshops in 2006-7, one in Obobulu and one in Pienuna ; Mary Chambers conducted her PhD research on Kubokota with field research based in Obobulu Village, Ranongga Island in 2006-7.
