D’altra banda, segons Genette (2001), els textos van acompanyats de paratextos que en donen informació i els presenten. Per aquest motiu creiem que les introduccions de les gramàtiques, com a paratextos que són, ens poden servir com a declaració de principis del plantejament no només de la codificació en si sinó també del model de llengua estàndard que codifiquen. Partint d’aquesta idea, l’objectiu d’aquest estudi és analitzar i contrastar, a través de l’anàlisi del discurs (Calsamiglia i Tusón, 1999), les introduccions de les gramàtiques de quatre llengües (català, espanyol, anglès i francès). Aquestes obres són de referència per a l’estandardització de les respectives llengües i, a partir de la informació que recullen, ens permetran esbrinar el model de llengua que presenten, tant si convergeixen com si divergeixen.Paraules clau: gramaticografia, llengua estàndard, paratext, codificació, anàlisi del discurs. ; According to Haugen (1983), grammar codification is a part of corpus planning for standard languages. On the other hand, according to Genette (2001), texts are introduced by paratexts that give information about them. Therefore, we believe that grammar introductions, as paratexts, can serve not only as a statement of principles for codification itself but can also give us information about the kind of standard language presented. In line with these ideas, the main aim of this study is to analyse and compare, using discourse analysis (Calsamiglia & Tusón, 1999), the introductions of Catalan, Spanish, English and French grammars.
