Abstract:
Scytodes bocaina new species Figs. 90–93 Type material: Holotype: male from Parque Nacional da Serra da Bocaina, São José do Barreiro [22 ° 43 ' S; 44 ° 36 ' W], São Paulo, Brazil, 28 April – 3 May 2002, Equipe Biota, deposited in IBSP 92307. Etymology . The specific name is a noun in apposition that refers to the type locality of the holotype. Diagnosis . The males of Scytodes bocaina n.sp. resemble those of S. jurubatuba n.sp. (Figs. 87–88) by the short and distally narrowed bulb. They are distinguished by the prolateral, strongly curved projection (Figs. 91, 93). Description . Male (Holotype, IBSP 92307). Carapace pale orange, medially lighter, with dark brown pattern as shown on Fig. 90. Chelicerae slightly lighter than carapace with dorsal, longitudinal, brown stripe. Pedipalps pale yellow. Labium pale yellow with brown margins. Endites pale yellow. Sternum cream colored with brown markings in front of each coxae. Legs pale yellow. Femur I-IV with ventral pair of longitudinal brown stripes.
