Abstract:
International audience ; This paper discusses the different methodologies for studying migration as used in Geography and Linguistics and considers the ways in which the different approaches could enhance each other. It is argued that Geography's approach to interviews is very behaviourist and does not focus sufficiently on interviewee's identity construction.
