The purpose of the study is to improve current methodologies of Specialized Translation (SP) teaching. We conduct a quantitative analysis of annotated translations aligned with their original texts. Characteristic elements are computed on morpho-syntactic level of analysis in source contexts grouped according to translation errors in the target text. They reveal specific linguistic elements that are complex in terms of meaning transfer in specialized languages. Contextual visualization of these results through Differential Textometric Browsing (DTB) opens up new horizons for the development of language modules based on the types of difficulties that learners face in SP.
