Abstract:
; For a diachronic systematics of Romance languages: theoretical aspects, applications and hypotheses on language memory. This study analyses the implications of the concept of system and aims to define a systemic approach in linguistics. In particular it focuses on the evolution from Latin to Romance languages by referring to the typology of languages and the concept of "deflexivity" created by Gustave Guillaume in the context of the psychomechanics of language. The theoretical hypotheses are explained with two concrete examples: the appearance of the article and the evolution of demonstratives in French and Italian in order to highlight the "macrosystemic" characteristics. To understand these evolutions, a new linguistic concept is introduced, "the memory of languages", which makes it possible to highlight the current typological divergences between the French language and the other Romance languages; French is increasingly assuming the characteristics of a "neo-isolating" language.
