Dabei wird besonders seine Unterkategorie „Zagal al-Manabir“ und der mündliche Vortrag in Form eines Wettstreits zwischen mehreren Poeten betrachtet. Neben der Geschichte, Grammatik, Technik und wichtiger Merkmale wird ein Wettstreit transkribiert und übersetzt. Sprichwörter, Redewendungen, sprachliche Bilder, Witze und historische Vergleiche werden dabei kommentiert und erklärt. Die gesellschaftliche Funktion und Bedeutung von Zagal al-Manabir werden analysiert. Außerdem wird die Rolle von weiblichen Poeten im Zagal von Libanon herausgearbeitet. ; This thesis presents the dialectal art of poetry named „Zagal“ in Lebanon. The main part of this work is the subcategory „Zagal al-Manabir“, which is held in form of oral recitation in competitions. Several poets participate in a competition. The history, grammar, technic and important characteristics were written down. To give a better understanding of this art form a part of one competition was transcribed and translated into German. Sayings, phrases, jokes and historical comparisons were commented and explained to a non-arabic reader. The social function of Zagal al-Manabir was discussed and the role of female poets was brought to light.
