Transkulturelles und mehrsprachiges Lernen in heterogenen Lerngruppen ...

|
Abstract:
: Due to increasing migration movements, the linguistic and cultural resources of pupils and thus the starting position for the initiation of language learning processes and of cultural learning in the foreign language classroom are becoming more and more heterogeneous. Didactic concepts for (foreign) language and cultural learning, however, have long been geared towards teaching monolingual learning groups. That is why many actors in school or educational contexts (researchers, teachers, learners) have developed habits of perception based on monolingual and monocultural norms without necessarily being aware of them (cf. Ortega, 2014). Although approaches to transcultural as well as to multilingual learning should prepare pupils for an adequate handling of linguistic-cultural differences, they are sometimes themselves based on the postulate of a monolingual learning group. This can be illustrated by means of empirical studies in which the perspectives of learners on transcultural or multilingual learning were ...
