Abstract:
Die vorschulischen mathematischen Kompetenzen besitzen einen großen Einfluss auf den schulischen Erwerb mathematischer Kompetenzen und bieten Ansatzpunkte für die frühe mathematische Bildung. Die vorliegende Querschnittstudie untersucht Einflussfaktoren vorschulischer mathematischer Kompetenzen auf den ersten beiden Ebenen des Zahl-Größen-Verknüpfungsmodells. Die Stichprobe besteht aus 158 Vorschulkindern aus Kindertageseinrichtungen in Bremen und Niedersachsen. Signifikant positive Korrelationen zwischen den mathematischen Kompetenzen und der Sprachkompetenz, dem IQ, der Sozialkompetenz, dem Bildungsniveau der Eltern, der Bücheranzahl sowie der Familiensprache (zu Lasten von Kindern aus Familien mit nicht-deutscher Familiensprache) werden festgestellt. In hierarchischen Regressionen werden die Sprachkompetenz und der IQ als relevante Einflussfaktoren für die mathematischen Kompetenzen auf beiden Ebenen des ZGV-Modells identifiziert, wobei der Einfluss der Sprachkompetenz auf der ersten Ebene größer ist als ... : Preschool mathematical competences have a major influence on the acquisition of mathematical competences at school and offer starting points for early mathematical education. The present cross-sectional study examines influencing factors of preschool mathematical competences on the first two levels of the number-quantity-linkage-model. The sample consists of 158 preschool children from day care centres in Bremen and Lower Saxony. Significant positive correlations are found between mathematical competences and linguistic competences, IQ, social competences, educational level of parents, number of books and family language (to the detriment of children from families with non-German family language).
